My thoughts on LinkGuru, the new app in town

I just discovered LinkGuru, and the app's pretty good. Here's the backstory behind it. History As the friend of Arjun Reddy (a web developer not to be confused with a movie), he told me everything about the app. In 2017, Arjun, after feeling motivated by a lecture, thought, "Why not make an app?" A prototype app called Smart Videos went through, but did not make the cut. He tweaked some of the app's code and eventually released a beta version of LinkGuru with premade videos by the developer. He eventually got tired of making his own videos and pulled trending videos from the Internet, and by 2018, the number of monthly active users rose to approximately 558,000.   Now, it's 2026, and, what do you know, it has grown to a number over the specific figure of 660,132, according to recent data. LinkGuru now supports features like: pulling images from the Web, making YOUR own videos and images, manual parental controls and AI moderation which is good for the system. ...

Jukebox is my new favorite

I just created an almost-24/7 unofficial radio station at Jukebox, accessible at jukebox.today. And goodness me! What else can I say about this delightful music hosting service with NO ADS AT ALL?! Jukebox is a free music player for other people to join. You can listen to music and chat, while also having fun and suggesting songs. And that radio station I mentioned in the intro? It's available here . I call it 98.3 toInfinity. It's an amazing thing, this station. So, yeah! That's Jukebox. This just goes to show that you can make do with what you already have, and it might be better than what the pros use. Free radio stations for all, end of story.

The new WImpy Kid book is coming - here's the scoop

Image
Diary of a Wimpy Kid's 21st book is coming! That's right - you guys thought all of Greg Heffley's misadventures were over by book 20. But Fight or Flight has been announced - and me, personally? The cover sucks. It's Greg Heffley as a bird, while he still has his head: See? Look how gruesome the cover is. I refuse to believe we have three food covers in a row: Hot Mess with spaghetti, Partypooper with cake, and now Fight or Flight with eggs?! Dude, I don't like eggs. I'm afraid this book will never be in the hands of me. I'm afraid Jeff Kinney's downfall is coming, and you should be too! Sorry if the image doesn't load.

The whole truth about Henry Stickmin

Henry Stickmin seems like any stick figure: black outline, white skin, them LONG eyes. But what's beneath the surface is shocking. He is based on a real person who robbed the National Bank of Arizona. Life The person in question is an anonymous person named Henry Sampson. In 1986, when he was 22, Henry chose to rob a National Bank of Arizona location, and made it successfully. One year later, in 1987, Henry was found in Romania living under a different name, specifically "Shayne Disick". He was promptly arrested, but all records of where he was incarcerated are lost media. All we have now is his sentence's length, which was life imprisonment. However, it is unknown if he escaped or died, or if his sentence was shortened and he was set free. Inspiration Marcus Bromander, the creator of the Henry Stickmin series, took this as an opportunity. He created a stick figure named after Sampson, and called him Henry Stickmin. Stickmin starred in the Flash game Breaking the Bank...

A first look at my new file extension and what to except

I have since decided to contribute positively to the file extension world, with my new file extension .$GEMS. Today, which is January 17th, 2026, I have released it to the public. As an alternative to boring plain text, $GEMS files really hit the spot, with special text editing software to up your game! And best part? Text editors can open it too! To make an .$GEMS file, you will need to do the following: Open your text editor on desktop. Alternatively, on mobile, use a mobile-friendly text file maker. Type anything you want - be it a diary entry, movie transcript, or a note to the future. There should be a "Save as" feature on your text editor. On Windows, click on one of the dropdown menus and set it to the All files (*.*) option. Now replace ".txt" with ".$GEMS". Alternatively, click "Save" to save it as plain text, then change the extension from txt  to $GEMS  in your file manager for the fun! You are now ready to enjoy your file. $GEMS file...

Nostalgic Games We Played When We Were Kids (we miss it. trust me!)

Nostalgic games are cool, but here are some we played. Some we made up, others we didn't. Now for some personal faves: 1. Tacs and Stacs I made this game up for my personal enjoyment in school, during recreational breaks. We would pass around a Tic-Tac over the course of 12 seconds, and the person who would have it at the end of the timer would be eliminated. If you win, you got to eat your Tic-Tac. It was this cool variant of "Pass the Bean Bag" we created for entertainment. Me? I have stopped playing it, but some of my childhood friends do. Fun comes, fun goes. That's just how it works, and you can't always get the same thing to feel good forever. 2. Hide-and-go-seek Hide-and-go-seek was one of my favorites. I'm sure you know it, but in case you didn't grow up in the Western world/Hemisphere, you might not. In hide-and-go-seek, you get a few good people, and they each hide in a spot. One is the seeker though. They would... normally count to 10, but just...
